Describe: I see a wooden fence around the power box, the dark gray trench coat that Jenny's wearing, her white shirt, the plants in the background, and the white wall.

Analyze: I had her spin around while the wind was blowing that way i could shoot stop action and have the trench coat move.

Interpret:I think that even though this i a black and white photo that its more of a light and happy photo because of the expression on her face.

Judge: I think that this would look better in motion but i think that its alright, i really had fun with this project because it showed me how to make other pictures more interesting, and now i can incorporate this with other types of shooting i've learned.

Fall Daze

Describe: Focused on Jenny and behind her is blurry. 

-Her silver earrings, her clothes, her dark hair, the blurry background of the brownish trees behind the art rooms.

Analyze: The project was depth of field, so i blurred the background and focused on her. The horizontal lines in the background show calmness and the expression on her face does as well.

Interpret: I wasn't trying to communicate anything in this picture i just thought it was a really good picture of depth of field. It was taken outdoors in the light and it was behind the art rooms.

Judge: I thought that this was a good picture of depth of field but personally i think it was too centered, because i like off center things. I think it was successful in fulfilling the assignment but i think i could have done better or picked a better picture to print.

Err.

The Wonderer

Describe: 

I see a high contrast photo  with an equal balance of darks and lights. Her light skin balances out with the hair color and the color of her shirt, the pine cone balances out with her jewelry and the dark behind her semi balances out with the fence. The objects that I see are: horse necklace, pine cone, fence, bracelets, and the model herself. This work I would say is figurative because it, to me represents the wonders of your brain and being able to get the answers if you're not behind the fence.

Analyze: 

I think this work was organized to get all of the elements in the picture, like her hands to her the top of her head, while also getting the fence in the picture for gray. The two main shapes are round and square, Palina  is round and the fence behind her is square. I accidentally put the whole thing in focus, it was meant to be mainly focused on the pine cone.

Interpret: My photo had a deeper meaning to it that just looking at up and holding a pine cone, it shows how everyone wonders and nobody know everything except God.

Judge: I like my picture, but i think it could have been better and could have been cleaned up better. Next time i will balance out the light and darks so that way it won't look so dull.

Overall, i really liked this project because it started me off with a sample of what photography is and what it can be, and now i know what i can do to make it better. It was also very fun going through the whole process to get a picture.
